But if you were hoping for the wealth of export options available in QuickTime Player Pro 7, you’ll be disappointed.

Specifically, the new version of QuickTime Player (10.1) provides two new export commands in the File menu: Export and Export for Web.

With the version of QuickTime Player that comes with Lion, Apple has restored some of those editing and exporting tools-and made them easier to use, too. QuickTime Player X, the version of the application that shipped With Snow Leopard, stripped out the many editing features found in its predecessor (QuickTime Player Pro 7).
